Capteris was launched in 2022 in strategic alliance and financial backing via funds managed by Apollo Global Management coupled with investments from established industry leaders MidCap Financial and Wheels. As President & CEO, Eric oversees all aspects of the equipment finance business with a passion for driving innovative growth and delivering tailored client-centric strategies. With more than three decades of experience in financial services, including leadership roles at PNC Financial Services and GE Capital, Eric’s expertise encompasses corporate finance, asset-based lending, private equity and treasury management. His diverse professional experience includes successfully building and scaling several North American and global equipment finance platforms. Eric holds a BS in Business Administration / Finance from Wake Forest University and is an active member of the Equipment Lease and Finance Association.

Brian Nethercott Chief Financial and Operating Officer

Brian serves as the Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Capteris, overseeing critical day-to-day functions such as Operations, Finance, Pricing and Funding. With a career spanning over 17 years at GE Capital and most recently as Commercial Leader for MUFG's Supply Chain Finance business, Brian is recognized as a trusted advisor in the C-suite with a proven ability to drive superior operating results. His expertise includes leading teams through complex initiatives, notably in building dedicated bank platforms focused on Supply Chain Finance for Fortune 500 companies. Brian holds a BS and MBA in Finance from Marist College and is a graduate of GE's Experienced Financial Leadership Program (EFLP).

Doug brings over 25 years experience in equipment finance to his role as Chief Risk Officer, overseeing risk strategy, underwriting, portfolio management and asset management. Before joining Capteris, Doug served as the Chief Risk Officer at Wingspire Equipment Finance, where he played a pivotal role in launching their equipment finance business, and held various risk roles at GE Capital over a span of 20 years. After his tenure at GE Capital, Doug was the SVP, Lending Manager of the Food, Agriculture, and Beverage vertical at Wells Fargo Equipment Finance. Doug holds a BS degree in Justice and Law Administration from Western Connecticut State University and an MBA from Marist College.

Todd Sinclair Managing Director

Business Development

Todd brings over 30 years experience in equipment finance to his role as Managing Director at Capteris, where his expertise in sales, business development and financial relationship management is instrumental to driving client success. Todd began his career in commercial credit underwriting and equipment leasing at Comerica Bank, and in 1994 joined GE Capital, where he was eventually promoted to Senior Vice President in GE’s Global Enterprise Client Group, managing global financial relationships for strategic clients across multiple product lines. At GE and later, MB Equipment Finance, and Fifth Third Equipment Finance, Todd consistently excelled as a top performing sales representative and relationship manager and in leading top performing teams, responsible for building large private equity portfolios.  Todd holds a BS degree in Marketing, and MBA in Finance from Miami University.

As Managing Director of Capital Markets at Capteris, Lance is responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s capital markets initiatives with a focus on maintaining, developing and growing institutional investor relationships to foster new originations and portfolio growth. With over 20 years in the commercial finance industry, Lance brings extensive leadership experience encompassing capital markets, sales, and structuring efforts, and deal experience spanning various asset classes, platforms, and products. Prior to joining Capteris in 2022, Lance was Head of Equipment Syndications at BMO Harris Equipment Finance Company, where he led a national team of capital markets originators and managed sell-side initiatives through syndicated equipment finance transactions. During his 12 year tenure at GE Capital, he held roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in a Senior Vice President position within GE’s Capital Markets group. Lance holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Finance) from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Loyola College in Maryland.
